Students will examine a current issue relating to Health and Physical Education. Students study biophysical and sociocultural influences on health and well-being.

The course includes: anatomy and biomechanics applied to a physical activity; safety and risk management to physical activity in the outdoors; practical skills in two different sports / physical activities; motor skill learning and sports psychology principles to a physical activity ; physical activity and its relationship with a healthy lifestyle; principles and methods of training in relation to physical activity and role and significance of physical activity for young people.
Year 11 Sport Science is based on performance, skill evaluation and adjustment of technique to improve.. In this course, students apply interpersonal skills within a team situation.. Anatomy and physiology are applied to a physical activity. Students apply principles and methods of training to physical activity. Finally, students reflect on how physical activity influences participation.
