Exams are now less than four weeks away. It is time to start preparing your exam materials.
You will need two plastic bags:
· One can be quite small – sandwich size is good – to contain your phone, keys, watch, wallet, and any emergency medication you may need. This bag will stay on the floor under your desk during the exam.
· The other needs to be larger –A4 size is good – and will contain all the things you may need while you complete the exam. This bag should contain your exam entry slip (which you will be given later), your school ID card, at least TWO pens (blue and/or black only), a ruler, a calculator and any other equipment required for your exam.
· If you plan to take a water bottle, it must be CLEAR plastic with no writing or labels on it. You bottle will contain water only and will not be refilled during the exam.
NOTE: You are NOT allowed to take correction fluid/tape, red or green pens, food of any kind (including lollies), any paper products (including books, notes, refill, tissues…).
You can access the full exam rules from the NZQA website: http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/qualifications-standards/qualifications/ncea/ncea-exams-and-portfolios/external/external-examination-information-for-students/
